Who and What is Three Ducks on a Roof?
I, Anita Horovenko, am the who. That is me on the left in April, 2002 holding my new business sign prepared by Egmont resident, sign painter, and potter extraordinaire Kim Freemantle. I was so thrilled that day!
Three Ducks on a Roof. the what, is my little business. It began on the farside of the Skookumchuck Narrows with my own quilted crafts and in May, 2002, expanded to include a gift shop in the little village of Egmont the home of mighty Skookumchuck Rapids here on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. In February, 2009, Three Ducks located to the town of Sechelt and now I know why this part of BC is called the Sunshine Coast. What a difference when you are not completed surrounded by mountains!
In 2004, Three Ducks on a Roof, jointed the digital age with a small website selling a select line of fabric and notions. Now, it has a shopping cart and specializes in reproduction fabrics and carries the wonderful software and quilting products produced by The Electric Quilt Company. I hope you will enjoy your visit to my site. Please, take your time and explore the mini-tutorials in the EQ6 section (see the left column on that page for links); visit my blog with which has all the latest news; and, if you are so inclined, drop me a line to say hello or join my mailing list.
